About Me

I’m a computer science student at the University of Waterloo, specializing in machine learning for generative AI and autonomous systems. My previous experience includes my work at LMNT, where I was working on Transformer-based speech production models, and my research at WATonomous, leading a research team focused on path planning and controls for autonomous vehicles incorporating elements of control theory and machine learning (deep learning, reinforcement learning, etc).

This Fall (September - December 2025), I’ll be working on algorithms for autonomous driving at Waabi.

I expect to graduate with my BCS in April 2026, and am seeking research opportunities (in academia or industry) for Summer 2026 and beyond.

Background

I was born in Manila (Philippines), and have also lived in Paris (France), Montreal (Canada), and now Waterloo (Canada). As a result, I speak English and French.

I’m a Canadian, American, British, and Hungarian (EU) citizen.
